markowich Posted March 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) dear friends, a couple of weeks ago i came back from a photographic vacation in nepal. i used the m8 almost exclusivly except for shooting mountains with the big tele lens. then it was the d200 with the 200-400vr nikkor. for street photography the leica was wonderful.....no complaints except those which i had already raised before (retro bottom plate, sometimes white balance problems). you can see the result of this wonderful trip at: nepal_2007 Photo Gallery by markowich at pbase.com of course, your comments are highly welcome! peter

johnbuckley Posted March 7, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 7, 2007 Lovely galleries. Brings me back to time spent in the Kathmandu valley. Most importantly, it shows me how well the M8 will likely do next week, when I travel to next-door Bhutan. Looks like a great trip, and you have posted some wonderful photos. tashley Posted March 7, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 7, 2007 Nice shots, particularly the two older guys and the bus. I'm fed up with Italian carnivals now (bet everyone else is too!) - I want to go to Nepal! Best Tim
