Bill W Posted May 31, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I seem to have lost my trusty card reader. It was the only one that would read SDHC cards. I want to replace it and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this one. It is inexpensive and I was going to buy several at $6.99 and put them in every camera bag I have. tobey bilek Posted June 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 13, 2012 I was thinking a card reader is a card reader, period. I got lot of fits all of a sudden with 3 inexpensive ones I got over the years. Last Christmas I bought an on sale Lexar reader, 35 on sale for 20, and all the issues went away. It always works if you cable the camera to the computer also, always
wda Posted June 14, 2012 Share #3 Posted June 14, 2012 I searched the web and bought two EASYi SDHC card readers; one for home, one for travel. They were ridiculously inexpensive and have worked faultlessly. Tethering your camera to computer uses battery power. Not necessary in my view. My only reader that will do so is "missing" or I put it in a safe place that I cannot locate and that is why I am going to buy several if they are recommended.
