stuny Posted March 7, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 7, 2007 Steph - Delightful composition, color and light. I'd like it bigger though so I can appreciate it better. BTW: We make it a point to always visit the War Memorial Museum when in town to see their astonishing collection of Maori art. BTW 2: I left a private message for you on the Forum a while back. farnz Posted March 7, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 7, 2007 Kia Ora, S, Nicely seen with the memorial balanced between the pines. Shame it's 'No Tree Hill' now though, eh? Pete.

squiff Posted March 8, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted March 8, 2007 Thanks everyone for the comments. Pete, it is a shame, I saw recently they auctioned off the chainsaw that did all the damage! go for ebay! It was only an old pine, not a native, I believe they have planted a Kauri up there now. Stuart, thanks for your lovely comments as always, I havent seen a message from you in my PMs? Ed, thankfully most of New Zealand is a national park, it makes for a very enjoyable lifestyle!. farnz Posted March 8, 2007 Share #7 Posted March 8, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) ... I believe they have planted a Kauri up there now. Great news! Perhaps it'll be the new Tane Mahuta one day: it'll certainly add to AK's skyline. Pete.
