SteveLaverty Posted May 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All, Did anyone ever figure out if it is possible to shoot video with an M8, via tethering or something? I remember seeing, years ago, someone tethering a Canon DSLR and capturing video before they added the video function. The camera has such a nice quality I just wondered. Thanks, Steve. pop Posted May 10, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2012 No, it can't be done. The camera takes exactly one picture, and that is when you press the release. You can do stop motion movies, however, given enough patience.
SteveLaverty Posted May 10, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted May 10, 2012 OK thanks, never mind, I think the way it had been done on the Canon before was to put the camera on 'bulb' or 'live view' and use the computer to record what was coming through. pop Posted May 10, 2012 Share #4 Posted May 10, 2012 The Leica Ms do not do live view. That's on account of the CCD sensor.
