What a marvelous city! :):)

Yep it's a pretty cool place. I go there about every ten years. Somehow that's how it's turned out through no particular plan of my own, 1986, 1997, 2008. Fascinating to see how the place has changed over the years.

Looking forward to photos and info.

Cheers

It seems that all Leica photographers wear jeans? Who are they by the way?

Jeff

I recognise Thorsten, Steve Huff and Herbert Piel. One must be Igor Beyder.

Is the guy with the glasses the fellow who travelled across Japan with Leica's M9 and 50 Summilux and then disappeared? :)

Just the other day I saw a patient who was originally from Heidelburg many years ago and the thing she said she misses most about living in Europe is how easy it was to get in the car and drive a couple hours and be in a completely different country/culture. I see what she means! So jealous! (Well ok, I can just go a few blocks up and it feels and sounds like I'm in a different country, but it's not the same thing :D)

Standing by waiting for the next installment !
