smb Posted July 17, 2012 Share #41 Â Posted July 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the Leica Lens Compendium 2011 in hardcover book form. I refer to it often. You need to lay it open on a desk or library table to read as it is that heavy. I find the information about the lenses invaluable. Another good book on the subject is the recently published "Leica Collector's Guide" by Dennis Laney.

darylgo Posted May 11, 2013 Share #48  Posted May 11, 2013 Sorry to bring this thread back from so long ago but I'm struggling to find a working link to the book, anyone know if it's still available?  Which book?  Here's a link to a copy of the compendium, this book is well worth the money and is up to date through the Leica M9-p and Titanium. All lenses except 50 apo are included.  Leica (Lens) Compendium 3rd Edition, 2011 by Erwin Puts - CameraBooks  Lindemanns in Stuttgart Germany may also have the compendium and others.  Good Luck
Mr_Jones Posted May 12, 2013 Share #49 Â Posted May 12, 2013 Specifically the ebook version of the Leica Chronicle which was released by Erwin but the link no longer works. I've no idea why he would stop selling an ebook but there could be a reason. Â I know the Compendium is a great book, thanks for the link but I like to read when I'm travelling and the ebook format is perfect for me.
