Advertisement Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Hi Giacomo.B, Take a look here CV 50/2 Heliar Classic. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Lightwrangler Posted March 22, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted March 22, 2012 AFAIK the collapsible version has an M-mount for direct use with M8/9. The non-collapsible version has a screw mount only and therefor needs an M-adapter. But in principle both should be usable on M8/9, as long as it is not the Nikon-version of the lens! Â I personally prefer the Nokton 50 1.5 Â Mike
Giacomo.B Posted March 22, 2012 Author Share #3  Posted March 22, 2012 Thanks! I have seen the M mount version (collapsible) for a good prize, but I do not know anything about this lens, i know only that it is quite rare, unfortunately in internet there isn't many samples with M9.  Ciao  Giacomo
rjans Posted March 22, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted March 22, 2012 I have one. It was part of the "250 Years Bessa set". I have used it a few times on my M8, but I do not have a reference to compare. The build quality looks okay. The minimal focus distance is 1 meter. Have used it with IR cut filter, but it cannot be coded because there is a screw on the coding place. With an M9 it should not be a problem to select a lens. Apertures from f 2.0 upto 16. Â Best
TomB_tx Posted March 23, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted March 23, 2012 I have the rigid version, and use it on my M9 with an M adapter. Overall it is very nice, and sharper at f2.0 than I would expect from so few elements, but low contrast at f2. It does have a lot of focus shift. Focus is great at f2 on my M9, but focuses farther away from indicated as it is stopped down, more than most lenses, but similar to the VC 35 f1.4 classic. You learn to compensate...
