The Blurb profit landed yesterday, and has now been donated to AICR through the Justgiving page

L•Camera Forum is fundraising for AICR

£4,670 / US$7,580 / Euro 5,770 raised to date, with more to come at the beginning of next month.

Thanks to everyone for their support.:)

Thanks Steve

We mustn't forget that the UK taxpayer has added £175 via GiftAid too. I was tempted to tick the GiftAid box when I put the £790 through, but since it's not "income" to me, I don't think it right to reclaim tax I haven't paid.

Can I just confirm that AICR, the charity for whom we have raised around £20,000 is the Scottish based Association for International Cancer Research, and NOT the American Institute for Cancer Research.

Just so that there is no doubt.

To the best of my knowledge, and that of everyone involved in the LUF Charity Book, the two are not connected.

Thanks.

The words I underlined, were enough for me. Good cause, no doubt !

I have transfered the April sales figure over today.

We will soon be at £5,000 for this edition, which is a very nice sum, given that we are doing this all on our own this year, without a contribution from Leica.

Well done, everybody, and special thanks to Andy. I’m very pleased how well the book sells considering no direct Leica endorsement this year. And happy I could contribute. :)

Cheers, everybody!

I seem to have stopped receiving emails from Blurb, but I checked my PayPal account this evening and found £87 profits sitting in there.

All now transfered to JustGiving, for a running total of £5,678

Many thanks to the people who continue to purchase this book. :)
