Advertisement Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Hi jc_braconi, Take a look here I like this box. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted March 6, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 6, 2012 Very nice box !!! I wonder if they'll make any further version of it... after all, the VIOOH was sold even in the first '60s, I think (but catalog of 1964 does not mention it) when other lenses existed : Elmar 135, Elmarit 90... but to fill a box with a lot of lenses' names would be an exaggeration... this box already has a good number of... (to further complicate, in those years there also ocurred the "transition" to millimeters...) Anyway, this looks a rather "late" VIOOH... do you know if all the lates were numbered ? Looks a high-range number... I don't think they reached the "6 digits"...
TomB_tx Posted March 6, 2012 Share #3 Posted March 6, 2012 Very nice indeed! I have one in the same design box, similar condition - serial about 3000 below that one. Hand-written price tag reads "120--" perhaps the new price in USD?

jimofnyc Posted March 10, 2012 Share #5 Posted March 10, 2012 I don't have a box and mine is a much lower serial number. It is a useful accessory though... Jim Welcome, dear visitor! aesop Posted March 10, 2012 Share #6 Posted March 10, 2012 ...quick question - I see three different (maximum aperture) 5cm lenses printed on the box. Re: field of view, was the listing of the individual 5cm lenses on the box more a marketing or an "educational" thing?
jc_braconi Posted March 10, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted March 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Certainly marketing the 50mm lens available at that time
