Advertisement Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Hi k-hawinkler, Take a look here Starling. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted March 3, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2012 K-H, I never realized the beauty of these nasty birds until I seen this picture. A marvelous picture with the composition, colors that I didn't know these rascals had and the sharpness. Paul
k-hawinkler Posted March 3, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted March 3, 2012 Paul, Many thanks. This bird must have just taken a bath to properly present its plumage. :D

k-hawinkler Posted March 9, 2012 Author Share #10 Posted March 9, 2012 Ben, Ece, Many thanks. Here are a couple more. First checking what's happening down there. Then joining in with his buddies. I am really liking this combination: Sony NEX-5N + E-R Adapter + Leica APO-Extender-R 1.4x + APO-Telyt-R 280mm f/4 This hopefully should get even better once my NEX-7 arrives - for tele-lenses anyway. Bob Jackson Posted March 12, 2012 Share #13 Posted March 12, 2012 Karl-Heinz, A well dressed New Mexico Starling! The iridescent feathers are a real treat to see. They are very pushy birds at the feeder, but their plumage is quite nice. This is another of your wonderful Telyt shots. Your system is quite impressive, I always enjoy seeing your amazing results.
