fielden Posted February 26, 2007 Share #1  Posted February 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a d3 and run photoshop CS. I find it a pain in the ass to have to open my raw files in elements before editing them in pscs. So I have 2 choices - upgrade to cs2 or buy lightroom. If I buy lightroom, which appeals to me, will it read my d3 raw files and will lightroom work with pscs.  Unless there is another option???  Cheers  Graeme
Advertisement Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Hi fielden, Take a look here D3 and Lightroom. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jdlaing Posted February 26, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 26, 2007 I think Lightroom reads proprietary file formats and converts them to DNG. I did download the trial version but hadn't got a chance to dig into it yet. Â Are you sure you can't download the latest Adobe Raw and use it to read RAW files? sandymc Posted February 26, 2007 Share #3  Posted February 26, 2007 Lightroom can convert to DNG, but normal operation is to leave the images in their original format  Sandy
