Advertisement Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hi stickan1, Take a look here Just me??. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fotoism Posted February 16, 2012 Share #22 Posted February 16, 2012 Have the same problem here, but I found out if I right click the link and choose "Open link in new tab" it loads the new page much faster. BTW I am using Firefox in Win7.
bill Posted February 16, 2012 Share #23 Posted February 16, 2012 Just an observation, whenever Firefox wants a restart to update, and I ignore it because I am in the middle of something, it takes revenge by running slower and slower. This forum seems particularly badly affected at these times. Have you tried turning it off and on again...? Regards, Bill
pico Posted February 16, 2012 Share #24 Posted February 16, 2012 I blame it on Google Analytics and any other tracker invoked. When I find such I block them through DNS by rerouting them to nowhere through the proper hosts file.
Michael Geschlecht Posted February 17, 2012 Share #25 Posted February 17, 2012 Hello Bill, That is an interesting thought. Sometimes when things are running slowly my computer itself will send me a message saying it thinks I should shut everything down & then re-open the computer in order to get things to run better. Very observant of you. Best Regards, Michael
Guest Posted February 18, 2012 Share #26 Posted February 18, 2012 My Macbook Air & i-phone 3S are slow only since about midnight. Good idea to try to contact also the provider at some point during the day, because it is so with all sit. Here it was an easy fix: put a different phone card in, because the February Gigs were used up. And it's like before... just fine
msAdele Posted February 20, 2012 Share #27 Posted February 20, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I suggest that you communicate with your provider right away.
