Advertisement Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Hi Flyfisherman, Take a look here How to access the shutter count ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted February 7, 2012 Share #2 Posted February 7, 2012 Depends on your software, but Adobe products (LightRoom or Bridge) ought to show a "Unique Image ID" in the Camera Data (EXIF) - That is the shutter actuations in hexadecimal - will be a weird number like 00000000000000000000000000004BCA If you have an Apple computer, the calculator that comes with the computer will, in "programmer" mode, be able to translate that from hex(16) to decimal(10). Select "16" as the input, key in your number, clikc the "10." Otherwise, just access "Google" and type in your value as "0x04BCA in decimal" and the Google calculator will translate it also. E.G. 0x04BCA in hex is 19402 actuations.
