kanzlr Posted February 15, 2012 Share #41  Posted February 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you for the examples, I am shocked, my Voigtländer 35 1.4 s.c.(supposed to be a soft rendering lens) outperforms this by far.  no surprise to me

Paul J Posted February 15, 2012 Share #43 Â Posted February 15, 2012 Well I'm late to the Leica party. I haven't tried all the lenses, I only own two. I do look forward to trying more! Â The Noctilux 0.95 for me is the best lens in the world. It ticks all my boxes. I bought the Leica M9 to have that lens. I don't think there's anything more magical. Â I own and love the current 35mm Summilux too. I'm looking for a 75 summilux. I love the look of the pics from these. Â I can't wait to experiment with some of the older lens which have a signature. I love swirly bokeh and coma and hope to find some gems. It would be nice if you could get something like the old large Format Petzvals for the M9.
