hsw Posted February 24, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Got a Half case for M8 about a month ago on time as promised but he owes me an accesory case that is now about two weeks overdue and no communication. Hope he's OK.... Â Henry
dspeltz Posted February 24, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted February 24, 2007 I was shorted a strap 3 weeks ago. He told me he was shipping it the next day and it has not arrived. I have emailed him several times over the last two weeks to no avail. There is a problem or he is on holiday.
carstenw Posted February 24, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted February 24, 2007 He is just one guy running a small business. Give him a little time...

hankg Posted February 24, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted February 24, 2007 When I ordered my case a week ago he told me he was swamped, a month behind. I also wanted a small custom belt case and he asked if I could talk to him about that in March as he was to backed up at the moment. Â I think he's just got more orders then he can handle at the moment. Sometimes now you get an immediate email back and sometimes it takes a while and maybe a second email. He has asked if i didn't get a timely response to email again. I'm sure he'll get round to everyone on his list. Maybe the M8 has caused a flood of orders. His product isn't mass produced so I imagine it takes time to satisfy the current demand.
fjmcsu Posted February 24, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I ordered a full case with grip & deluxe strap -"the works".This was about 2 weeks ago & he stated it would take about that time to do it all. I received my case Thursday this week, right on time along with a nice vintage look box & Leica key fob.As previously stated I suspect he's very busy delivering/manufacturing. Skippy Sanchez Posted February 24, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted February 24, 2007 It's interesting that you bring this up. I ordered a second M8 half-case from him on Ebay last week, and haven't heard a word. When I ordered the first case, he replied almost immediately and I had my case within two days, all the way from Italy! I was amazed. I have sent a couple emails and ebay messages, but all I know is that he cashed my PayPal charge.
thpeters Posted February 24, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted February 24, 2007 In Italy is it Carnaval time the last 2 weeks most shops are closed? Â I have received today my strap for my M8, 10 days ago orderd. Â Theo
ron110n Posted February 24, 2007 Share #10  Posted February 24, 2007 Luigi is well in touch when it comes to issues. He shipped me a strap for my M3 on an eBay / Paypal purchase that "never arrived".  The boo-boo seems to be with the USPS. It's over a month now and it's good as lost. I escalated it to a paypal claim.  -Ron  Creature of Habbits or the Caveman within
enboe Posted February 24, 2007 Share #11 Â Posted February 24, 2007 I corresponded with Luigi, ordering an M8 battery holder. That was only 6 days ago, and he replied then. I would be patient. Â Eric
colorflow Posted February 24, 2007 Share #12 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Just got email from him today. He has been having email problems on top of probably being swamped by the M8 pull-through. My M8 half case, strap, battery case, etc. arrived as promised two weeks ago. Great guy, great product. Â Alan
Giulio Zanni Posted February 24, 2007 Share #13 Â Posted February 24, 2007 It seems that he is very busy, but he will come back for sure as soon as he can. Last week he called me just to make sure that I received a case. Â Giulio
bnelson Posted February 24, 2007 Share #14 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Ordered a strap for the M8 3 weeks ago. Emailed him this week with no response, but the strap arrived yesterday (hand addressed postal letter). I suspect he is really busy. Â Bill
egibaud Posted February 24, 2007 Share #15 Â Posted February 24, 2007 If Luigi has email problems, don't forget that with Carnaval countries like Italy, Spain etc have also third part services such as courrier half stopped.
Jfelder2@nyc.rr.com Posted February 24, 2007 Share #16 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Just got a strap in the mail from him this week, fairly quick; I assume because the strap was part of his already made backstock. As above said, probably just a backlog as he makes the new items. I'm sure he'll be back up to speed soon. Very nice fellow. hankg Posted February 24, 2007 Share #17 Â Posted February 24, 2007 I just checked on my order which was due about now. He responded that the case was finished and that they would be finishing my custom strap Sunday. He's working 7 days to catch up. If you have'nt heard from him send another email. You don't have to worry about your order not getting filled.
albertknappmd Posted February 24, 2007 Share #18 Â Posted February 24, 2007 I spoke to him yesterday about my order and he is well but a bit behind... He always gets it done... eventually and on Italian-time !!
woodyspedden Posted February 24, 2007 Share #19  Posted February 24, 2007 One other possibility  I did my emails to Luigi via yahoo mail.  I never got a response at all. Then one day for some strange reason I logged on using Safari and voila! there was his message in "mail" I could have gone forever without finding that one as I don't use Safari mail. Anyway, as soon as I discovered this I contacted him again, payed the bill, and had my case inside of 10 days (Half case with drop down rear door and integrated grip). The case is beautiful, wonderfully made and best of all has that fantastic smell of great leather. I am a totally happy camper despite the email hiccup  Woody
gerasdoc Posted February 26, 2007 Share #20 Â Posted February 26, 2007 He is fine. I exchanged emails with him yesterday (2/24). I think his email server has problems at times because one of one was returned before I connected with him.
