Just updated the version on my iPhone and I can't see a link to download the magazine.

Same here with my iPhone.

On the iPad you scroll down and it says "Download Magazine" or something like that. You hit that button and it starts to download (took forever).

Then that same button becomes "Read Magazine". When you hit that the magazine appears with a UI similar to Zinio. Looks and works really nice!

William, I've just downloaded the update on myiPad and it works as you describe. I was a bit concerned because the first time I tried to download the magazine my iPad rebooted after the download ended. Second time went ok.

For anyone in the Uk the Zinio app allows a year's subscription to Amateur Photographer for 50p a copy.

Steve,

My experience was exactly as yours.

I've been using the LFI-app for 2 or 3 month. During that time the photos behind the M9-button have changed quite often, always parallel to the LFI-webinterface. The photos behind the S2-button are still the same, and there has also been no change in the categories, e.g. in the portrait category or in the urban landscape categorie.

So in the end I stopped using the app and returned to the lfi website. This is still true after the update.

Cheers, Thomas

William, I'm glad to hear that it wasn't just me.

I assume this is a precursor to them selling the magazine from within the app.

...or through Zinio.
