menos I M6 Posted January 10, 2012 Share #21 Posted January 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) That's amazing as it's still possible to buy that model new - though 'new old' stock, of course. I assume you're probably talking about Nikon Europe - I found them to be pretty unhelpful (though friendly), with very little knowledge of their own products. When it comes to this new scanner, I'm dreaming that it's a rebrand of the 9000ED. It looks like it almost could be. I certainly wouldn't mind the value of mine spiralling downwards, if I knew that it had risen phoenix-like from the flames... pico Posted January 10, 2012 Share #22 Posted January 10, 2012 Plustek to Unveil New Line of Scanners at CES It tells us nothing at all. It's a crammed laundry list. For example, exactly what dimension of 35mm or 120 does it cover? No answers there.
lewis44 Posted January 10, 2012 Share #23 Posted January 10, 2012 I have a faulty 4000ED Nikon does not even took a look at it, they just send it back and told they do not repair it anymore. My LS-4000 went to Nikon, Melville, New York and they did work on it. It was about 6 months ago and things may have changed since then. Nikon USA web site for service shows they will take most scanners.
Stealth3kpl Posted January 10, 2012 Author Share #24 Posted January 10, 2012 It tells us nothing at all. Except that Plustek are unveiling a 120 scanner which was news to alot of us. Even Mark hadn't let on about it (to my knowledge). Pete
StS Posted April 3, 2012 Share #25 Posted April 3, 2012 Just stumbled over this image taken at the Cebit. Compared to the 35mm scanner in the background, this will take some more space on the desk, but I guess, this is true for all MF equipment.... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LlYZfNOzk-M/T1jHKuWrL7I/AAAAAAAABko/dE2r3OWU1iU/s1600/2012-03-06+11.07.32.jpg The man, who wrote this (german) blog, mentions a price of 1500 EUR. ohrenbeisser: CeBIT-Review 2012 Stefan
