jaapv Posted January 3, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted January 3, 2012 Nice selective sharpness, but have a look at your color balance. This appears to be rather green to me.
icon80 Posted January 3, 2012 Author Share #4 Â Posted January 3, 2012 Nice selective sharpness, but have a look at your color balance. This appears to be rather green to me. Thank you. I agree about the colour balance. Will work on this some more. I found the bright sunlight, heavily filtered through the densely packed sunflowers, a little tricky to work with, whilst trying to track the cat. pauledell Posted January 4, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted January 4, 2012 Max the cat looks like he owns the territory and you are infringing on it. Very nice. Â Paul
svenning Posted January 13, 2012 Share #6 Â Posted January 13, 2012 Dear icon80, Â I like your picture of the cat - taken at the cat's favourite environment = under the bushes :-)) Â I agree with Jaapv that there is a little bit of color cast in your photograph - I tried to adjust your picture (sorry, sory, sorry) - inorder to see the difference. However - we all join the Leica Forum to learn from the other Leica photographers - don't we? Â All the best - Svenning, Denmark.
allamande Posted January 14, 2012 Share #7 Â Posted January 14, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is charming. For me, the problem with making his chess fur white is that it is probably not how his fur would look in that light. That is, his white fur would be reflecting some of the color around him. so the reworked version does not improve on things but makes things look clinical. Sometimes, there is colorcast, because that's how light is behaving in the scene. Just an opinion. Â Ece
