Nice selective sharpness, but have a look at your color balance. This appears to be rather green to me.

Thank you. I agree about the colour balance. Will work on this some more. I found the bright sunlight, heavily filtered through the densely packed sunflowers, a little tricky to work with, whilst trying to track the cat.

I like your picture of the cat - taken at the cat's favourite environment = under the bushes :-))

 

I agree with Jaapv that there is a little bit of color cast in your photograph - I tried to adjust your picture (sorry, sory, sorry) - inorder to see the difference. However - we all join the Leica Forum to learn from the other Leica photographers - don't we?

This is charming. For me, the problem with making his chess fur white is that it is probably not how his fur would look in that light. That is, his white fur would be reflecting some of the color around him. so the reworked version does not improve on things but makes things look clinical. Sometimes, there is colorcast, because that's how light is behaving in the scene. Just an opinion.
