Herbert, as a lot of my railway shots have been taken over many years, some of these Locomotives Have now been retired. Steam trains only operate on special occasions. I am pleased that you like my work, I love photographing trains and aircraft with my beloved Leicas. Next year my wife and I will be visiting Germany so I hope to photograf some beautiful German trains. I will scan more of my Railway shots to post on Faszination Eisenbahn. Mike2s Posted May 24, 2014 Share #1766 Posted May 24, 2014 Vor langer Zeit habe ich Bahnbilder aus Thailand versprochen. Aus der Bahnfahrt in Burma wurde leider nichts. Wir sind dann von Bagan nach Mandalay geflogen. Auf der Zugfahrt von Bangkok nach Chain Mai setzten sie leider statt eines lokbespannten Zug, bei dem man die Fenster herunter lassen konnte, einen Klimatisierten Triebwagen, ein. Nur in der Toilette konnte man das Fenster herunter lassen. Das erste Bild zeigt den Sky Train von Bangkok. Es gibt 2 Linien, eine U-Bahn Linie und den Airport-Link. Der Rest des ÖV in Bangkok sind Busse die gnadenlos im Stau feststecken. Der Sky Train ist für Thais nicht ganz Billig. Darum wird er in erster Linie von der Mittelklasse benützt. Der Rest fährt Bus. Die anderen Bilder sind im Bahnhof von Bangkok und im Zug nach Chaing Mai entstanden. Nur das Letzte ist der Bahnhof von Mandalay in Burma. Welcome, dear visitor!
