Advertisement Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Hi Greywolf, Take a look here Coupling rod. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted December 2, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 2, 2011 A very nice shot. Since you are working on B&W conversions, I ran USM over it, with the settings 30% radius 50, threshold 0 Tell me what you think.:
jaapv Posted December 2, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 2, 2011 It is a trick to enhance detail contrast.
Greywolf Posted December 2, 2011 Author Share #4 Posted December 2, 2011 Very interesting. Thank you for the post. At first I thought there was no difference but as I switched between each image I began to see the subtle differences in the detail. I will definitely incorporate this into my workflow and see how it improves my pictures. Thank you again.

wda Posted December 2, 2011 Share #6 Posted December 2, 2011 A good engineering detail shot enhanced by mild USM. It is always a question of fine judgement.
