Advertisement Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Copenhagen: FINAL CALL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted October 13, 2012 Share #282 Posted October 13, 2012 Carlsberg is actually £6 per pint. But let's not tell James. Beers are on him tommorow. Reminds me of the time we had a forum meeting in the champagne bar at St Pancras. I think it was the only time no one offered to buy a round.

bill Posted October 14, 2012 Share #290 Posted October 14, 2012 I'm voting Copenhagen one of the most enjoyable challenges thanks to you, Andy, and to Carl, for the organisation. Regards, Bill Sent from another Galaxy
earleygallery Posted October 14, 2012 Share #291 Posted October 14, 2012 I really enjoyed yesterday, great crowd and so nice to meet up with old friends and new! The dinner was superb although I do have a bit of a sore head this morning from all that beer! Can't wait to see the photos!
Nick De Marco Posted October 14, 2012 Share #292 Posted October 14, 2012 Wanted to add my voice to the thanks to the organisers The restaurant and company were both superb and I enjoyed meeting up with you all - I also have a very sore head..... Without adding a downer, as Copenhagen is obviously a beautiful and lovely city - and I'm glad I have come here - I found it to be most uninspiring for street photography. Perhaps it was the time of day, or year, or something, but it lacked buzz and quirkiness for me. It made the 'challenge' a far greater challenge than I expected, as I struggled to photograph anything that even interested me. I'm looking forward to see everyone's photos as I'm sure many of you managed to capture something special. Thanks again to everyone. Nick
StS Posted October 14, 2012 Share #293 Posted October 14, 2012 Standing at the train platform, I would like to give my best thanks to Andy and Carl for the organization and to Erik for showing us his wonderful city. Stefan
StS Posted October 14, 2012 Share #294 Posted October 14, 2012 Nothing brilliant to expected from my roll, however, I found København one of the most relaxing city for photography - I had the impression, that people found it amusing to have their photo taken. The train is rolling, have a good trip everyone, Stefan
earleygallery Posted October 14, 2012 Share #295 Posted October 14, 2012 Stefan, I felt the same, people here seem very relaxed. I even dared to take a couple of shots which had children in, not something I'd do at home! We were lucky with the weather yesterday, it's a very wet, cold and overcast day today! My sightseeing has been mostly the inside of yet another bar.
andybarton Posted October 14, 2012 Author Share #296 Posted October 14, 2012 We've had a great, if horribly expensive weekend. Had a very nice lunch at Cap Horn on Nyhavn. This place (Nyhavn) might be very touristy, but all the places we have eaten in or had a drink in on Nyhavn have all been very "genuine". Not just tourists in them. jonoslack Posted October 14, 2012 Share #298 Posted October 14, 2012 We had a lovely time. Sorry only to have missed the opportunity to talk to everyone. Like Stephan I found the photography really hard, but what a great party! As well as the organisers. Thanks especially to Jana (and David) who persuaded us and Erl to come at the last moment. Best wishes all round (Now sitting in a rainy "Malmo" airport waiting for Ruanair to herd us like cattle back to Stansted!)
robnath Posted October 14, 2012 Share #299 Posted October 14, 2012 Yes, thank you to Andy and Carl for arranging a great weekend (and to Erik for the great pub recommendation) Safe journey home to all that attended. Rob
eckart Posted October 14, 2012 Share #300 Posted October 14, 2012 Back in Berlin. I want to give my thanks to Andy, Carl and last not least Eric too. It was a great challenge and you had chosen very comfortable Restaurants and delicious food, Thank you all. I am really looking forward to the results, but I agree It wasn't that easy to catch something. Nevertheless 31 of us have been fishing in daytime and some for sure in night time too, so I am very sure there will be good results to see. Cheers, Eckart
