Advertisement Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Hi abrewer, Take a look here Salem Crossing Covered Bridge in Snow at Sundown. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
martinop Posted February 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2007 I like the scene. I am a fan of covered bridges, especially when taken with snow on the ground.

stuny Posted February 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 19, 2007 Allen - Absolutely charming. Beautiful crop, color, light, depth and detail. Aren't Eastwood and Streep just off camera to the right?
stunsworth Posted February 19, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 19, 2007 Excellent! The soft shadows of the fence really lift this for me. Great light.

richam Posted February 21, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 21, 2007 Allan, Very nice. Being a fan of backlighting, this shot is my favorite. That film latitude is amazing.
lambroving Posted February 22, 2007 Share #10 Posted February 22, 2007 Allan, This is the best one so far. Agree with Paul. However, I do think I now know every plank in this bridge. How about the one on the other side of town? Any relief from the snow and ice yet?
abrewer Posted February 22, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted February 22, 2007 Thank you everyone, for your comments. Even William.... Actually I have thought of two other covered bridges since we spoke earlier today: one in Noblesville and the other in Fishers. I'll take a look at them over the weekend, though by then we'll not have much snow left. Spring's just around the corner. Thank goodness! Thanks.
