LUF Admin Posted September 30, 2011 Author Share #61 Posted September 30, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) OK, here is the open beta! Leica @ eBay | © Leica Forum Short explanation: This application imports all Leica auctions from the most important eBay sites into an own database. Via the web application you can: ... see all Leica auctions ... filter for producttypes (lens, digital camera etc) ... filter for local ebay sites ... search for pre-defined keywords (like M9 or Noctilux) ... search for own keywords The application interface is available in German and English, you can switch the language in the upper navigation: German: Leica @ eBay | © Leica Forum English: Leica @ eBay | © Leica Forum My question - Does everything work like you expect? - Would you use this application? - Does something miss really important? - Any function we should get rid off? Already planned but not done until now: - Inclusion of "Buy Now" ads - Filtering for new auctions - Enhanced search function - Inclusion of slide projectors and lenses - Filtering for Leica-R gear Thanks for your support! gravastar Posted October 20, 2011 Share #65 Posted October 20, 2011 What a useful application. I especially like the fact it covers eBay listings in several countries at the same time. Until now you had to visit and search each country's site in turn. I've already found Summarex accessories I would have otherwise missed . Bob. thebarnman Posted October 28, 2011 Share #68 Posted October 28, 2011 Am I missing something? When I type R Lens, I get a lot of M Lens results.
andybarton Posted October 28, 2011 Share #69 Posted October 28, 2011 Type "Elmarit-R" (for instance) into the Quick search box on the right hand side and loads of R lenses come through.
pop Posted October 28, 2011 Share #70 Posted October 28, 2011 Typing just "-R" (without the quotes) will yield even more R lenses.

Keith (M) Posted October 28, 2011 Share #73 Posted October 28, 2011 What a terrible development. All these temptations easily accessible - get thee behind me, Satan!
Keith (M) Posted November 2, 2011 Share #74 Posted November 2, 2011 What a terrible development. All these temptations easily accessible - get thee behind me, Satan! Memo to self - do not go browsing on this link after partaking of a generous glass or three of Merlot. I almost ended up paying quite a sum for a tatty Leica M39 body, having clicked on the 'opening-bid' price to 'get things moving' (I know, I know, a dumb move), on the assumption that with over four days to go, someone was bound to outbid me... You cannot imaging my sigh of relief when someone actually did, just a minute before bidding closed this morning! No more late evening eBay browsing for me...
