Thread titles with the word "print" at the end

From time to time someone manages to post a thread with a title which ends with the word "print".

That seems to be the last thing that can be done to that thread. The thread can not be accessed because the forum software apparently adds an extra "-print" to the thread title whenever you try to access the thread. This presents what I think is the printing version of the thread.

The author can not report the thread. It has no "report" button.

What to do when we detect a thread where this happens?

There is one right now in the Digital Post Processing Forum named "Can't print": http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/digital-post-processing-forum/200237-cant-print.html

Thank you, Philipp :) !

Just anoher technical question, to you Andy as an admin and to Philipp, too:

you Philipp easilly being the most eloquent member of the German and English forum combined.

I don't wish to see the thank-yous given by the one(s) on my ignore list either.

Would it be much work for Andreas to take this logical step?

Yes, I could ask Andreas myself, but he'd rather listen to you ;) .

Best,

Simon

Let me get this straight. You don't want to see Thank You's given by people on your Ignore List?

Any particular reason why?

And, no, I have no idea how easy or difficult this is to achieve, but I am sure that there are a lot of other things on Andreas's "To Do" list :)

Given that the members on your ignore list presumably are those you're not on speaking terms with: should not the thanks of those members be the most valuable ones?

Although the change you propose would be - in terms of programming - rather straightforward I would not urge Andreas to implement it. I see no marked advantage to it.

Now, if I could see the thanks in the chronological they were given or if the forum removed the quotes quoting members on my ignore list.... :)
