Hi there,

I get confused about working solution of HC-110

From Concentrate to create Working solution (part B) : we mix 1:31

From Stock to create Working solution (part B) : we mix 1:7

However, to create Stock we mix Concentrate 1:3

so we have a working solution (part B) = Concentrate mix (1:3):7 I thought it should be 1:21 rather than 1:31.

Any idea please?

When I use HC110 Dil B (which is 95% of the time), it is simply made to a dilution of 1:31

It is not diluted any further.

This is with the European recipe for HC110, not the US one, which is, I believe, a different strength.

If 1+31 (dilution B) is too short in time, go to unofficial dilution H (1+63) and double the dilution B time.

The European HC-110 is not in production anymore. Use the USA version and use a long 5ml (plastic) syringe to get the sirup out of some smaller glass bottles. Descriped in above website (article). The rest is very easy in use.

As has been pointed out the "European" version, which was just the USA syrup plus water :D is no longer available. This has lead to confusion, and probably delay.

As far as I can find out, and as always I am open to correction, the catalogue code for the old discontinued European version was 500 1466

The current USA stock is sold in two sizes as 140 8962 (which may be a discontinued size now ) and 140 8988 (473mls)

The current UK stock is the same strength and is sold as 1L 501 0541

You may find a picture on some UK retail sites (eg Calumet) showing a bottle with the USA code number on. I think this is "for illustrative purposes only" and you will receive the 501 number as the size listed is 1L.
