noriko_miyazaki Posted February 12, 2007 Share #9 Posted February 12, 2007 Very impressive composition and beautiful tonal range as said by others. Looking at it for a while, I was immersing myself into the world of your picture. Perhaps, because the scenary is so familiar and, yet very attractive to me. Thank you very much for sharing. fotografr Posted February 12, 2007 Share #10 Posted February 12, 2007 Easy to see why you love that lens. I can even tell what time it was taken (without looking at the exif data).
etienne_werner Posted February 13, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted February 13, 2007 Hi, Thanks all for looking and the nice comments. The picture was made in a small village close to Rotterdam. Exif: Iso 160 - 1/90sec F8. This lens is sharp and shows details beyond what I would have expected for its price. I do not believe that all VC are that good. I also have the Nokton 50mm which many people report as good but personaly have not been very satisfied with it as of yet. Biggest problem is getting a perfect focusing. I did have a problem with the M8's focusing but that has been repaired though stil no joy with the Nokton. Kind regards, Etienne
zanydave Posted February 13, 2007 Share #12 Posted February 13, 2007 This one gets my vote, your right about that lens. Dave
