Advertisement Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Hi bill, Take a look here wotancraft m9 holster. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
erg Posted September 20, 2011 Share #82 Â Posted September 20, 2011 No one made these snide comments when Leica introduced the holster for the M9T. Personally, I wish they had coped the Leica design, but it is close enough and it is the function of not having a camera swinging around when you are moving quickly, yet readily available for use that appeals to me. Having the camera close to the body, not protruding where it will strike an object or your arms as they naturally swing when you walk and yet quickly available for use seems like a good functional design. Additionally, when you are sitting down to have a drink or a bite to eat, your hands are free but the camera is secure. Maybe in practice it won't work out that way, but that is how I envision it so I ordered the black one. Â Â It's all about functional design. Unlike the Leica M9 Titan holster the Wotancraft holsters have a strap securing the camera. Â Congrats for your new purchase. Please let us all know how you like the black one. swamiji Posted September 20, 2011 Share #83  Posted September 20, 2011 Drill... Holster... Seriously..? Regards,  Bill  Yep, most major manufacturers of commercial cordless drills make a holster... That way there is a place to put it when you are on a ladder or such. They are usually designed to attach to a tool belt. You mostly see them on a work site... I had a Porter Cable... RobertotheToad Posted September 20, 2011 Share #85 Â Posted September 20, 2011 Does anybody know if a M9 with attached Thumbs Up EP-1 (the model without the cold shoe) will fit in the Wotancraft holsters (the Hektor ideally)?
bill Posted September 20, 2011 Share #86 Â Posted September 20, 2011 Actually. I do enjoy a spot of DIY. My 'O' Level in woodwork enjoys the occasional airing. But Pete is right, Lupin does indeed hold my tool, on a silver salver. Â Regards, Â Bill

earleygallery Posted September 24, 2011 Share #93 Â Posted September 24, 2011 As for these holster things, reminds me of Gareth from 'the Office' who carried his mobile phone in a holster - the point being it was a thing of ridicule.
