gyoung Posted February 21, 2007 Share #21 Posted February 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I plan to be there from early so may not still be there that late. Any chance of a slightly earlier meet - say 3pm, same place? I plan to be on the 16.30 train to get back home at a reasonable time, so would prefer earlier too, 3.00 pm would do for me, give us time to say hello at least, and show off any goodies we might have found. dhsimmonds Posted March 2, 2007 Share #22 Posted March 2, 2007 Thanks to Wilson, Ian and Gerry for our "brief encounter" at Focus. It's always nice to put faces to avatars and names.
wlaidlaw Posted March 2, 2007 Share #23 Posted March 2, 2007 Thanks to Wilson, Ian and Gerry for our "brief encounter" at Focus. It's always nice to put faces to avatars and names. I was good to meet all of you too. Here is the link to a few of the many photos I took - still learning with M8 as you can see. http://tinyurl.com/2nrh2y Wilson
gyoung Posted March 2, 2007 Share #24 Posted March 2, 2007 Yes, it was good to put some names to faces. A very disapointing show from the rangefinder point of view, no Leica, no Robert White so no Voigtlander or Zeiss. I don't know how you're supposed to see the Robert White stuff and spend money on it, they are far too far away to visit, and even Classic Camera has only a little of it if you visit London Gerry
