Now I want to contribute some of my own pictures. Comments are welcome. The first picture shows a sunrise. I've taken the picture through my roof window, therefore there are some minor reflections. [ATTACH]25296[/ATTACH] Last weekend I spent a short holiday in the Harz, which is a small mountainies region in northern Germany. There I found a tree struggling hard not to fall into a cave. Your second shot is well composed but I think it could be improved by being brighter. Getting the exposure right when shooting snow into the sun is tricky. Normally you'd take a snow scene at something like +1EV, but the sky would blow out completely. I guess you could try to brighten the shot in Photoshop using some masking for the sky.
