I recently did a series of photos of roses with the M9, M8 and now with Kodak Portra and SL, R4S and R8....

Well, I can tell you frankly the colors are much better in the film.

I do not know why people love digital for the color

Without any correction, we have a beautiful color, but it is true that digital is more convenient

I called it the high-fidelity of images like hi-fi for the sound ....

I continue to say today :)

look again these pictures taken in macro,

with an old SL (1969) and recently revised by Solms , and old lens Tele 135 Elmar of 1970 ......

What do you think?

color and consistency are there, no doubt !

I find a certain similarity in color between the sensor of the M9 and the film from Kodak Portra
