echorec Posted August 13, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello fellow Leica collectors. This came with a Leica collection I recently bought. StephenPatterson Posted August 13, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 13, 2011 I agree Rip...I've been following this post and trying to figure out what those rings are all afternoon. Doesn't say much for my social life. I've never seen them, and could find nothing in any of my reference books... They look like some sort of lens adapter, and perhaps the oval opening closest to the word "Ernst" is to allow the focus cam roller to protrude through? That's as far as my thinking (guessing) takes me.

someonenameddavid Posted August 13, 2011 Share #7 Posted August 13, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a VOOLA/16621 diaphragm setting ring to adjust aperture setting of screw mount 50cm Elmar when slip on filter or FISON hood is in place. That's the nice thing about this group (and especially JC Braconi)... Ask a decent, honest question and VOOLA! You get a great answer!!! (and then a bad pun from me) David :-)
