wattsy Posted August 2, 2011 Share #4 Â Posted August 2, 2011 I've seen two 50 Summiluxes in stock during the last two weeks. I guess Leica has finished producing another batch. Â No idea, assume 3 month. Â Which camera? All four variations of the M9 - including the chrome M9-P - are available to buy from stock (in the UK). bbbonthemoon Posted August 2, 2011 Share #5 Â Posted August 2, 2011 Silver is gorgeous but heftier. I'm a bit envy(owner of the black one). Should be perfect match with silver chrome M9-P
Guest Posted August 2, 2011 Share #6 Â Posted August 2, 2011 Silver is gorgeous but heftier. I'm a bit envy(owner of the black one). Enjoy! Best 50mm in the world. Â Some people pay premium prices for heftier black paint 35 & 90 Summicrons asph. I've filled my Leica M9 handgrip with lead instead.

tompoes Posted August 3, 2011 Author Share #12 Â Posted August 3, 2011 At delivery of the lens i was able to do some test shots with a M9 from the camera shop and was pleasantly surprised about the ISO performance. I come from the Pentax K5 with a very good ISO performance, 3200 no problem slightly deteriorating towards 6400. I took some pictures with a M9 at ISO 1600 and was quite happy. Â Now waiting for the M9 P, Summarit 35/75 and Zeiss Biogon 21 mm, that will do for the next 5 years. Thanks to my understanding wife.
