U/V Filters

Threads are metric and thus standardised. Here are the most important ones (in the correct technical designations, the first number is the thread diameter, the second is the thread pitch):

 

E39: M39.0x0.5mm

 

E46: M46.0x0.75mm

 

E55: M55.0x0.75mm

 

E60: M60.0x0.75mm

 

All self-respecting manufacturers – B+W, Hoya, Heliopan, whoever makes the 'Leica' filters – adhere religiously to the ISO norms. Btw 'E' is an Leica designation, used to distinguish screw-in filters (German Einschraub) from push-on filters (Aufschub).

E 41: M 41 x 0.5

E 43: M 43 x 0.5

E 46: M 46 x 0.75

E 48: M 48 x 0.75

E 49: M 49 x 0.75

E 55: M 55 x 0.75

E 58: M 58 x 0.75

E 60: M 60 x 0.75

E 67: M 67 x 0.75

E 85: M 85 x 0.75
