I don't think so. PayPal accounts must be linked to credits cards so that the subscription can be automatically renewed. It there's not enough money on the PayPal account the money is taken from the credit card.

I don't see the problem here really. PayPal is safe and saved me some euros with dishonest sellers/buyers.

Farewell ugly red banner! I'm now a sponsoring member, and, yes, the banner has disappeared. :)

See : Andreas's strategy is not so bad after all. Welcome, sponsor. :D

Haha... haha... hahahaha.

PayPal is FAR from safe and honest. I learned that one the hard way.

Many (many) others too. Some have lost small businesses because of PayPal 'practices'.

I'm thinking of becoming a Premium Member but since i'm still new on the forum, i'm waiting to see if i really need too :)

Yes, I heard of "practices".

Regardless, I insist : these past 12 months only, PayPal saved me 2000 €

with two dishonest sellers (one in Germany, one in the UK).

Good :)

I was not so lucky (and i can name a lot of friends and family too).

Paypal even 'helped' themselves into my bank account. Turns out they are 'allowed' to do that...

Luckily in Canada we have EMT (email money transfer). It's extremely cheap (if not free) and takes 1-2 hours MAX to transfer.
