I use a cover for my M8 and each time I need to use a tripod I need to remove it, and it is quite annoying.

I've thought of a tripod with a clamp and I found the "Kestrel Weather Meter Tripod Clamp" I could use my tripod. Do you know of any other similar option?

Do yourself a favour; when using tripod remove protective case and use decent plate/tripod head, maybe Leica own ball head. That Kestrel clamp is a joke for any decent camera.

If you are absolutely right, but I'm lazy when I want to shoot a few photos at low speed ... end finish removing the cover, I know :)

You could get a Luigi case with a tripod thread on the bottom. Then attach a basic Really Right Stuff or Wemberly camera plate to the bottom. You can then keep the case on and easily quick release onto most ball heads from Kirk, RRS, etc...

Yes, thanks!. I am looking for a solution that way. Regards
