skinner Posted June 13, 2011 Author Share #3  Posted June 13, 2011 Many thanks for your kind words K-H, we were lucky enough to have a pool in our villa that overlooked the Indian Ocean and towering over the pool was the Frangipani tree. There was a constant daily supply of flowers dropping from the tree so i got as low as I could to the water to capture the horizon of the pool and the ocean.  Wish I was was back there right now  Thanks again Steve Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Â I did look to recover some of the clipped highlights but it just didn't look right, beyond my PP skill level I'm afraid. Would much prefer to have to the exposure a bit better first in the shot though but it was a trade off between a really bright day and getting the foreground/background to bond together?
