soo Posted June 6, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted June 6, 2011 Me too on fading flowers. Check out my post a few minutes ago called Imperfection. Guess cause it's we're fading too as are our parents. Metaphysical flowers? Visual musings on mortality and its attendant beauty? Which is all well and good as long as it's not us personally doing so at the moment so photographing flowers is putting a toe into the inevitable. pauledell Posted June 7, 2011 Share #3 Â Posted June 7, 2011 Bob, Â The first shot is obviously too flat, but the second is wonderful with its tones, lighting and sharpness. Â Paul

on fading flowers . . . when Autumn comes, go out and pick the dead, dried, orange, red, yellow, broken leaves off the ground and shoot them (I use a scanner !) . . . each leaf is a beauty in and of itself.
