FastFashnReloaded Posted May 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 26, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I'd like to get a film M and whatever I need to develop said film. The camera bits are easy. Where should I look for chemicals and such in the 21st Century?

too old to care Posted May 26, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 26, 2011 Many or most larger camera stores will have what you need to get started (chemicals, film and paper), although their selection will be quite low when compared to a few years back. You may have to search to find other things such as reels, enlargers, trays, etc. Look on Ebay for those if you cannot find them locally, they are often selling them for a song, sometimes complete sets. One of our larger stores in St. Louis still carries a few enlargers (new and used) and can order new ones too. For harder to buy items I shop at B&H Photo. They carry stuff I have not seen in stores for years. Enjoy Wayne

spydrxx Posted June 4, 2011 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2011 I've used these folks and been really satisfied with their services and range of products....they're located in Montana, I believe, and most of their business is mail order. thomasw_ Posted June 4, 2011 Share #6 Posted June 4, 2011 Both BH photo and freestyle have a good selection. I buy most everything darkroom related mail order through them; no complaints, except their shipping charges can approach gouging.
