This is South Australia's Coorong National Park. This area was made famous by the film 'Stormboy' which is an Australian classic. The bird life in the area is spectacular.

 

very happy with both lenses on the M9- especially pleased with the 135 and wished I had used it more (and coded it correctly). Works great on the M9 and I don't believe the hype about it being too hard to focus.

 

Any comments good or bad welcome.

Lovely light and color. I think 2 & 3 would be stronger too if you cropped to move the pelicans out of the center, cutting from the left, leaving more space in front of the birds. #1 would benedfit from sharpening.

thankyou all, much appreciated.

 

This was actually the first light of dawn- not sunset. The light was amazing and the water was perfectly still... I am now very keen to get back to the Coorong.

 

The mid-day light is very harsh in Australia but we do get spectacular colours at sunset and sunise-
