Caterman Posted May 13, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 13, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone have any experience with the 21mm VC Viewfinder. I thought I heard somewhere that it obviously has 21mm frame lines but could be used as 15mm full view.
Advertisement Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Hi Caterman, Take a look here 21mm VC Viewfinder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted May 13, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 13, 2011 I had both those Voigtlander viewfinders and the field of view was so similar to make carrying the 15mm viewfinder superfluous, I used the 21mm finder for both lenses but ignored the framelines when I was using the 15mm lens. kivis Posted May 15, 2011 Share #3 Posted May 15, 2011 Yes the little CV 21mm VF is pretty flexible. The lens is quite nice, too.
Double Negative Posted June 14, 2011 Share #4 Posted June 14, 2011 I just picked up a 4/21 Color Skopar which came with the newer, plastic 21mm VF. Not bad - either of them! Good to know the VF can be used as a 15mm as well.
Michael Markey Posted June 14, 2011 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2011 Useful to know that. I have the plastic 21 too. I`ve also recently bought a metal CV 28 finder for use with the Ricoh GRD. A very nicely made little thing.

A very nicely made little thing. Agreed - I actually like the little metal finders better (I too have the 28). So much so that I'll probably bite the bullet one of these days and grab the 21/25 combo.
