mman Posted May 13, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted May 13, 2011 Thanks Jaap. Tried a few test shots. Seems to work but after a couple oh hours it gave me a card full message. Forget this one. Thanks again, just wished I had enquired here before purchasing.

Double Negative Posted May 13, 2011 Share #6 Posted May 13, 2011 Ridiculously overkill in the M8 and the M9. Untested. And too expensive.
hhanebeck Posted May 16, 2011 Share #7 Posted May 16, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Need some help. Can anyone advise about using the above card. It's Class 10.Thanks Hi mman, A few months ago, Leica NJ recommended the 8 GB Sandisk Extreme (45 MB/s) to me. They said it passed all lab tests successfully. I have used it in the M8 and X1 since w/o any issues whatsoever. The cards are a little faster than the previous class 6 version, but not by much. Leica explicitly mentioned that they do not recommend more than 8 GB on a card. Hope this helps. Cheers, Chris
