Joss Posted May 7, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi. I´ve used a Canon Epoca many years, and an IXUS 100 IS. all automatic. So investing in Leica V-Lux 20 is a new world to me in exposure possibilities. etc. Exciting:-) I´ve loaded my first pictures into my imac. and wonder why the SD card says "no name", the IXUS pops up with it´s one name always. I have formatted card once in the Leica. It´s not really a problem , just wonder:rolleyes: Joss
Advertisement Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Hi Joss, Take a look here V-Lux 20. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
farnz Posted May 8, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 8, 2011 Joss, Welcome to the forum! I don't have a V-Lux 20 so I'm afraid I can't answer your question directly but I own several cameras that use SD cards and none of them names the card so perhaps it's a feature of the IXUS? I hope that when you feel ready you'll post some photos in the photo forums here. Pete.
andybarton Posted May 8, 2011 Share #3 Posted May 8, 2011 Welcome to the Forum! AFAIK, all SD cards come un-named. There is nothing to stop you re-naming the card if you wish, thus:- Before After
