• Visoflex IIIs and all lenses for use on them must be fine-adjusted individually to (almost) zero tolerance for optimal performance.

• Once this fine-adjustment has been accomplished each lens is interoperable with every Visoflex III for optimal performance.

• Newer fabrication techniques and smaller tolerances of digital (in contrast to film) demands make fine-adjustment necessary for digital use.

• Older lenses have bigger tolerances and require fine-adjustment in addition to the Visoflex III.
