tuanvo1982 Posted May 22, 2011 Author Share #101 Posted May 22, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is this under develop or over develop ? (I thought it was under develop) Finally, I have found This is over develop but I don't know why maybe overtime, which I didn't realise, the liquid is probably too concentrate or loading into the reel was wrong. I will try it again next week.

Doc Henry Posted May 22, 2011 Share #102 Posted May 22, 2011 Is this under develop or over develop ? (I thought it was under develop) Hi Vo, .... perhaps more a problem of exposure difference between the photo in the center and the other photos at the time of shooting ,than development isn't ? if it is a development issue, it's not like that! I'm using Ilford film overall (sometimes Fuji or Kodak) that I develop myself with Ilfosol S (usually 6 to 7 minutes 20-22°C in Paterson developing chamber, for 36 exposures) Best Henry
tuanvo1982 Posted May 22, 2011 Author Share #103 Posted May 22, 2011 Hi Henry, IMO, the areas between 2 film frames are darker than my last correct processing. That is the reason I am thinking of developing rather exposure difference between the photos. Thanks
Xmas Posted May 22, 2011 Share #104 Posted May 22, 2011 It would be difficult to get what you have, by development, unless the film was very old. Or you opened the camera without rewinding (when the effect would not be as uniform). I dont see how you got the rebates clear. Are you using the same liquid for fixing this film as the other films, and did you inspect the film during the fix interval to see if it cleared promptly? If you are reusing fixer it takes longer tp fix a 2nd and a 3rd time, it is safe to open the tank after the film had been in the fixer for more then 30 seconds. When you open the tank and lift the reel out the film will hve a milk color, drop it back in and lift it every 30 seconds until it stops being milky and them leave it in the fix for the same length of time again. Wash for longer as well. Noel

Anyway, 34 exposures were gone out but I have one left to share with everyone Welcome, dear visitor!
