meatboy Posted July 14, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 14, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I find this quite amusing also, this is an excellent grab. Perhaps it would be better to see all of the bike and the feet of the subject? Perhaps not. I like it the way it is. Tim
Guest imported_stefan_r Posted July 14, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 14, 2006 Hello Rainer, just a little little burning of the wall would concentrate more on him, the wall less shiny.... what do you think? regards
christoph_d Posted July 14, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 14, 2006 Hi Rainer, I saw your pic before, and I still find it outstanding, one of those pics that gets in your mind and is there to stay. Kind regards, C.
rainer_p Posted July 14, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted July 14, 2006 Hi all, thanks again for the words and Stefan, I agree that the wall a bit darker does help. I think this is an older scan from a negative as my 30x40 baryt print is over all a bit darker and we see a better separation of the man and the wall. Thanks again greets
telewatt Posted July 14, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 14, 2006 Hello Rainer, just a little little burning of the wall would concentrate more on him, the wall less shiny.... what do you think? regards Thanks Stefan, you did it first...I like the picture...it is great, but the print is tooooooo contrasty!!!...you loose the "feeling".. ..forget the sharpness!!!! what a leica-lens has to put in a "picture"....nobody will count the lines you have in the picture!!
