Thanks, Stuart.

I promise I was quite high when I took the photo, it's just that the mountain was higher..... Which mountain is this?

Good luck,

Jan

Michael,

No, it could not be. Go north.

I wanted to add that when I wrote that "I was quite high" when I took the photo, I was referring to 'high' as in altitude..... Just to set things straight. :D

Cheers,

Jan

Hello Jan,

Do you mean above around 49 degrees North Latitude to somewhere around 60 degrees North Latitude?

Best Regards,

Michael

Michael,

Please read my posts again and think what I may have meant by clarifying the meaning of 'being quite high'. It had absolutely nothing to do with Latitude - the word I used was altitude.

I will join the sentences from the two posts together so that you can understand better:

" I promise I was quite high when I took the photo"...... and ....."when I wrote that "I was quite high" when I took the photo, I was referring to 'high' as in altitude..... Just to set things straight" :D.......

There were no hints as to what mountain we are seeing or, where it may be located.....

Some sense of humour always comes in handy........

Cheers,

Jan

This should not be so difficult now, should it? We have established that 'my' mountain is north of Colorado, close to Mount Rainier and south of the 49th parallel. And, can be seen from a city on a clear day.......

Good luck,

Jan
