Lindolfi Posted April 12, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 12, 2011 I have very good experiences with Collectcamera. Bought a visoflex finder and a version III of the 280/4.8 Telyt. He may not be cheap, but those items were very well described and in excellent state.
k-hawinkler Posted April 12, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 12, 2011 I have very good experiences with Collectcamera. Bought a visoflex finder and a version III of the 280/4.8 Telyt. He may not be cheap, but those items were very well described and in excellent state. I bought similar items from Collectcamera plus a bunch of adapter rings and focus mounts at comparable prices to those from other European shops. Most items were in excellent shape and as advertised. The only exception was a little crack in the corner of the base glass plate of a vertical Visoflex finder that doesn't impact functionality and so I didn't even complain about it. I am glad I have the part and can use it. Overall it has been a pleasure doing business with Collectcamera and I will continue to do so in the future. Of course, one always should do one's homework and know what the going market prices are before committing to a purchase. I would think it would be to Collectcamera's advantage to correct a mislabeled price - if that's what it is. Jaap, Thank you for starting this thread. I believe in "Trust but verify". Best, K-H. luigi bertolotti Posted April 12, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 12, 2011 Maybe it has the status of a collectible... ... what is sure on my side is that I ordered one at my dealer... more than 1,5 year ago... he asked me NO deposit (indeed, for 45 Euro...), and told me "it will arrive in some weeks"; it never did, I went there 3 or 4 times asking for... no way... and finally me and (probably) the dealer forgot of it...
