jaapv Posted April 5, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) But I am happy. I didn't know it existed, but it is a Televit for Leica R. I thought I bought the Visoflex version... Just one drawback, the shoulder Stutzen will not fit together with the DMR. Very happy! I even found the correct strap today In box, manual, and mint
Advertisement Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Hi jaapv, Take a look here Didn't know what I bought...:(. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted April 5, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 5, 2011 Aha ! I remember it was arriving to you... : so it's for R !!! Well, surely better for practical usage... and you can mount on it also the 280V3 head... Curiosity... can you post a pic of the R mount, and (in detail) how it is fitted to the Televit "body" ? I suspect it can be similar (maybe identical) to the R mount of my Telyt 800... a ring with the rotating R bayonet, fitted to the focusing unit with 4 screws... having not a R, I entered in a delicate custom building of an alternative mount for Viso... luigi bertolotti Posted April 5, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 5, 2011 Ref previous post... R mount ring isn't the same as Telyt 800... diameter ought to be 3mm larger (if the R Televit - 14146 - has the same body of the 14136 Televit for Viso, which seems to me obvious, even if was announced 2 years later). jc_braconi Posted April 5, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 5, 2011 Is this you wish to see ? 6 screws Dia. 59.5 you can can also see the 2 models R and V here http://www.summilux.net/visoflex/objectifs/Telyt400-560.html may be it was interesting for you to have the different measures from the rear ring ? jc_braconi Posted April 5, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 5, 2011 Just one drawback, the shoulder Stutzen will not fit together with the DMR. You can adapt one other model, tightening it under the pistol grip, are you using a Brightscreen viewfinder ?
jaapv Posted April 5, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted April 5, 2011 I'm not really interested in using a shoulder stock. Yes - I find the Brightscreen viewfinder loupe very effective in combination with the DMR full matte screen.

Yes - I find the Brightscreen viewfinder loupe very effective in combination with the DMR full matte screen. To be used with the DMR I had to mill the kurnled ring to have it centered and also a little part under the left slide to be able to adjust the dioptr ring without removing the complete slide. Next I restored the few black removed with paint, including this ugly socket screw.

I suppose a difference of 21,8 mm in distance rear black ring to bayonet "base" (the surface with the 6 screws) in the 2 models.

jaapv Posted April 12, 2011 Author Share #11 Posted April 12, 2011 Yes - but I found I could not open the back with the slide attached, so I took a leaf out of your book and ground a bit off the bottom. Btw, I found the original strap 14130 last week. Far too expensive, but still I got it from CollectCamera.
