But I am happy. I didn't know it existed, but it is a Televit for Leica R. I thought I bought the Visoflex version...:o Just one drawback, the shoulder Stutzen will not fit together with the DMR.

Very happy!:) I even found the correct strap today :) In box, manual, and mint :)

Aha ! I remember it was arriving to you... ;): so it's for R !!! Well, surely better for practical usage... and you can mount on it also the 280V3 head...

Curiosity... can you post a pic of the R mount, and (in detail) how it is fitted to the Televit "body" ? I suspect it can be similar (maybe identical) to the R mount of my Telyt 800... a ring with the rotating R bayonet, fitted to the focusing unit with 4 screws... having not a R, I entered in a delicate custom building of an alternative mount for Viso... :o

I'm not really interested in using a shoulder stock. Yes - I find the Brightscreen viewfinder loupe very effective in combination with the DMR full matte screen.

To be used with the DMR I had to mill the kurnled ring to have it centered and also a little part under the left slide to be able to adjust the dioptr ring without removing the complete slide.

Next I restored the few black removed with paint, including this ugly socket screw.

Is this you wish to see ?

6 screws

Dia. 59.5

you can can also see the 2 models R and V here Objectif Leica pour Visoflex - Telyt 400 mm et 560 mm f/5,6 (1966-1971) may be it was interesting for you to have the different measures from the rear ring ?

I suppose a difference of 21,8 mm in distance rear black ring to bayonet "base" (the surface with the 6 screws) in the 2 models.

Interesting - mine fitted without modifications.

Yes - but I found I could not open the back with the slide attached, so I took a leaf out of your book and ground a bit off the bottom. Btw, I found the original strap 14130 last week. Far too expensive, but still I got it from CollectCamera.
